Welcome to your fire safety level 1 course to learn to be a fire warden or fire marshal. In this category, we first look at how the course works and a little about the training you will receive. Then we look at the law relating to fire safety and fire and how you get hurt.

In this section, we look at the fire triangle and how this is important to understand to prevent fire taking hold. You will learn about the sources of ignition, arson and how fires can be controlled with active and passive fire protection. Various sources of ignition are covered like aerosols. Then we cover fire prevention by good housekeeping and staff awareness with training. Finally, we look at the dangers of smoke, fire alarms and activating and the testing of fire alarms.
